Ballinahown Craft Village is located in a" Tidy Towns Award Winning Village"

 

Located in the picturesque village of Ballinahown, a “Tidy Towns Award” winning village on the Offaly / Westmeath boarder is the Ballinahown Craft Village, a place to feast your eyes on Irish craft and design from artists, craftsman, and sculptors. Here you will find the studios of “Core Crafted Design” and “Celtic Roots Studio”.


While in “Core Crafted Design”, visit the fabulous Ballinahown Tea Rooms, where you can unwind and relax, while savouring locally baked produce and artisan foods. Visit the Econo Musee in “Celtic Roots Studio” to learn more about the indigenous bogwood which is crafted into very unique gifts.


Ballinahown is the home to double Gold Medal winning Paraolympian winner Mark Rohan! Ballinahown is located on the N62, and is the approximately six miles from Clonmacnoise and seven miles from Ferbane and Athlone. There is ample parking to give you enough time to browse and enjoy this gem on the Offaly / Westmeath boarder.
