About this Gathering
Clara people all over the world for the past 5 decades have supported Clara Soccer under many different names and club crest. From The Biddies in the 1950's to Goodbodys AFC to Brosna Rovers to BOPA to CPR United to The Greenfield Leagues to Clara Boys' Club right up to today's standard bearers Clara Town FC which currently boast 7 Teams across all age groups and representing both genders.

On Monday 3rd June at its resplended Stanley O'Hara Park, which incidentally on the date is celebrating the 10th Anniversary of its Official Opening the club will hold the first ever reunion of all players, wives and supporters with a day of celebration; fun; football; music and craic.

The club is endevouring to contact former players who are scattered all over Ireland and the UK; USA and Australia with some in Holland; Germany; New Zealand and Belgium to try and persuade them to reunite with their playing colleagues of yesterday and at the same time meet-up, for the first time in years with players from Clubs such as Tullamore; Portlaois; Edenderry: Newbridge; Athlone; Longford; Mullingar; Birr; Ferbane etc for a mighty craic. The day will be a long and happy one.
